Update: Remembrance Sunday

Sadly the government measures in force from 5th November mean that we cannot safely perform a public Act of Remembrance on Sunday 8th November as hoped. However, an Act of Remembrance will take place from 10:50am and will be available to watch live on YouTube as previously arranged:  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC5gPpD5oZCbW6IniWiuQ8TA/live
Members of the public are warmly encouraged to remember in their homes and the Order of Service is available for anyone to download and print :

Those who wish to lay wreaths are asked to do so as part of their daily exercise on Remembrance Sunday. Organisations whose wreaths are stored in Girton Pavilion are asked to please contact clerk@girton-cambs.org.uk to arrange collection by Wednesday 4th November.

We would, of course, love to gather together as a village to remember those who have given their lives in war, and we hope to do so again next year. However, out of love and care for one another we ask that you please stay at home on Sunday.
