Girton Parish Council has one vacancy for co-option. We need you.

Now would be a great time to join Girton Parish Council. There is lots going and potential to do more.

Our Council members are looking at the possibility of markets and events in Girton, we are working with District and County Councils around active travel, there are a large number of volunteers to litter pick in the village. There is something for everyone!

Girton Parish Council has signed up for the NALC Foundation Award and are putting in place required policy and procedures to ensure that Girton Parish Council can operate most effectively and efficiently.

There is information from Girton Feast, in fact 101 comments about what you would like to see in Girton. The Girton Village Community Page has grown by more than 125% to 1,105 members as of today, allowing information to reach residents of Girton quickly and transparently.

Our community web-page highlights that many of you are interested in what is going on in your own backyard. Many people are downloading Council Agendas! Unheard of! Please do consider joining our proactive team to help support what matters to you in the place where you live.
