The Coronation of King Charles III is bringing our community together over an additional Bank Holiday weekend of 2023. In our own village of Girton we are celebrating the Coronation through a number of exciting events which highlight all that is best about where we live.
As our local groups, businesses and residents come together in the lovely green spaces of our village. Girton Parish Council is excited to hear what you feel is the absolutely best thing about Girton, the village where you live, work and play. Can you create a logo which shows us what you LOVE about Girton?
Enter your logo design by sending a photo or file to clerk@girton-pc.gov.uk by 1 June 2023.
Include your age as there are three categories – ages 0-10 / 11-17 / 18 & older. If you need help with creating a photo or file do contact clerk@girton-pc.gov.uk
Please submit your entry by June 1st, 2023, OR contact the clerk on clerk@girton-pc.gov.uk to arrange a pick-up.
Please state: your name, email and telephone number and your age on the back of your entry.
All entries will be displayed during Village Feast week from July 1st, 2023, in Girton Pavilion.
The winning logo concept shall be announced on 8th July at Girton Feast – and subsequently professionally recreated and used for Girton Parish Council!
The logo entries will be judged by Girton Parish Council and Chris Gooch, Creative Director of Cambridge-based Open Design Agency. One logo from each age category shall be chosen for the final judging.
The winner will also receive a £50 gift voucher (runners up £10).
