It’s Girton Feast this weekend and we’ve got 2 great events on Girton Recreation Ground. A concert featuring Cambridge Wind Band on Friday (7th) evening at 7pm. Tickets available at the door or online. Our fantastic Village Fete is on Saturday 8th from 12 noon onwards. Free entry on Saturday and there’s a great line up of entertainment including Cambridge, St Neots & Huntingdon Rock Choir, The Lexie Green Band, The Remnants and The Junkyard Preachers. The beer tent will have draft local beers and draft cider, plus wines and lagers and a separate Pimms stall. Children’s bouncy castles and rides plus a children’s entertainer, Take part in the 1 mile Family Fun run, watch the model aircraft flying display or stroll around the 30+ stalls selling local gifts and produce. We’ve got great food stalls, Jeabs Thai, Pizza Passione, burgers and hot dogs, baked potatoes and tea and cakes. It’s a great family day out!!
