See below the information compiled by Girton Parish Council’s master planners, Wilby & Burnett as at 12th November 2024. These are draft drawings awaiting your feedback via the precept survey now available online and in Girton Parish News.
Since February 2024 when Wilby & Burnett were appointed they have spoken to 33 village groups about their requirements for the village. Versions of these documents and drawings were on display at Girton Feast and at open sessions throughout the summer holidays in the Pavilion.
Many of you in last year’s precept survey and again this year have highlighted the need for long-term projects. The feedback we have from Girton residents ranges from ‘do very little’ to highlighting the importance of a stage and larger hall to accommodate such facilities at Girton Recreation.
With your help (via the precept survey) Girton Parish Council can consider what are the next steps in this project.
