Girton Open Gardens – some of the work in our village by Girton Parish Council

Thanks to Girton Open Gardens for the opportunity to join and support this important community event in just a small way this year.Girton Parish Council has put up some posters at Mayfield Green to show some of the work that has been undertaken by Girton Parish Ranger and supported by GPC in the village this year from work at Mayfield, Wellbrook Way, Girton Pump Garden and helping a team of volunteers watering the 43 Flower Tubs throughout the village.

Thanks also to all our Contractors, Local Nature Recovery Team, Peter Graves Florist (for planting and maintaining many of the tubs) and to the Wildlife Trust for all of the work at Wellbrook Way.

There is also a bucket with flyers giving information about the opening of Girton Glebe Pool and the new Farmers Market which will open in William Collyn Community Centre from September 2025 and of course Girton Open Gardens.

Thanks also to the Michelle at the George, who will also have a collection for Girton Open Gardens in addition to the Raffle raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
