My background is in education, I have worked in all types of schools and am passionate about supporting learners of all ages to remain curious and not be overwhelmed by anything. I founded Cambridge English Class as a not-for-profit service supporting from ‘cradle to graduation and beyond’ which includes mentoring parents and advising on career paths. I am a patient representative for my GP practice and have served on many committees both at university and in the workplace.
Originally a Lancashire lass, I have lived in Girton for over 30 years. One of a large family, I have first-hand experience of the challenges growing up in crammed accommodation and the lack of local facilities. I have been described as ‘feisty’ and this can often deter people, but my heart is the right place, so please do get to know me better so together we can make the world a better place!
